Thailand military rescues stranded tourists

War ships have brought hundreds of islands after storms in fixed-tourist Thailand back to the mainland. On an aircraft carrier 618 local and foreign tourists arrived at the Sattahip naval base at 120 kilometers south of Bangkok, said the Marine.
The ship they had rescued from the island of Tao north of the popular tourist destination of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand.
