The Thai Ministry of Defense canceled a visit to Cambodia

BANGKOK - The Thai Minister of Defence, Prawit Wongsuwon, canceled a planned visit Wednesday the same day in Cambodia and to be devoted to the border conflict between the two countries, said a spokesman for the Thai army.
We decided last night to cancel the trip of General Prawit in Phnom Penh after the Cambodian media had said that Thailand had agreed to talks on a cease-fire after he admitted having suffered a defeat and loss, has said Colonel Sunsern Kaewkumnerd.

Cambodian and Thai ministers of Defence will meet soon in Phnom Penh to discuss a cease-fire, had said Tuesday the Cambodian authorities after five days of fighting at the border that killed 13 people.

The conflict, the more intense in recent history between the two countries, geographically spread of the fighting on Tuesday with a second front, some 150 kilometers from the fighting of recent days.

Tens of thousands of civilians have been displaced from both sides.
